Constructed according to aggregate data from the class’ pulse, blink and breath rates, this experiment turns our human functions into a flawed musical experience, full of mistakes and blunders.

Our heart rate is involuntary and steady, and it is the beating soundtrack to our lives. Our project echoes this and the heart rate data is used to set the beats per minute (BPM) to the track. We speak to communicate. To communicate the breath rate data, butchered words have been chosen to be spoken in accordance with the data.

When we think of something blinking, we think of something flickering and energetic for a brief moment. Blinking data is represented through the stuttering and distortion of the words, simulating blinking and flickering through audio means.
